Accreditation


High Plains Technology Center is accredited by the Oklahoma Board of Career and Technology Education (OBCTE). OBCTE is the accrediting body for all technology centers in the state of Oklahoma. Additionally, OBCTE is granted the rights and authority by the U.S. Department of Education to approve educational institutions for federal financial aid and ensure post secondary education institutions quality of instruction for credit granting purposes. This means High Plains Technology Center programs are approved through OBCTE for meeting established measures for quality. Business and Industry authorities also accredit individual programs.
